Credibility and capacity to drive change stem from data, vision and confidence.

A free virtual community where young people explore global issues, test their ideas, and deploy their agency through data and critical examination of solutions to global issues.

Credibility and capacity to drive change stem from data, vision, and confidence, not necessarily from institutional backing.

Why we exist

Many young people believe they need an organisation behind them before their voice counts, and access to the support that builds that confidence is scarce. So visions get reshaped to fit other people's priorities.

We believe credibility comes from data, vision, and confidence, not affiliation. The Soundboard Forum exists to help you find yours, use what's around you, and act!

You are the credibility you have been seeking.

How we work

Agency over affiliation: Your credibility is yours, not an organisation's to grant.

Critique that builds: Ideas get challenged rigorously; people never do.

Capacity: Our cohort places are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We don't judge whose idea is "good enough."

Independence as success We measure ourselves by how little you end up needing in your changemaking journey.

Our programme

Join us in our free six-week informal mentorship programme for young people with an idea, a cause, or a question they want to pressure-test. This is an opportunity to meet a network of young people, access training on using individual agency in advocacy, and participate in an ideation challenge. Mentorship spaces are capacity-based, first come, first served. We also run a dedicated cohort for young people with experience of displacement.

Forum Session

Our virtual sessions are led by researchers, practitioners, and experts on global issues and local solutions towards the SDGs attainment. These sessions are open to all young people who seek to have critical discussions on global issues and explore innovative, expert- and research-based solutions in their local context. Join us for sessions that spark your curiosity.

The Cohort

Upcoming sessions

Our first session series brings researchers and practitioners from around the world to share what's actually working, including early research findings, local solutions, and open questions they want young people's minds on.

Coming up in November: SDGs & local solutions.

Speak at The Forum

Working on a solution the world should hear about?

We're inviting researchers, PhD students, and practitioners to lead our November sessions on the SDGs and local solutions. This is a chance to share your research or early findings, or to bring a participatory question that young people can help you think through.

We're looking for people who genuinely want to engage young minds and spark curiosity towards innovative SDG-based solutions. If this sounds like something you're interested in, please click the link below to apply.

Shape the Future of The Forum

We are building a global space for young minds to pressure-test ideas. Share your interest in hosting a session or receiving exclusive invites to upcoming discussions.
